Tour Plan
Day 01: Cochin to Munnar
On arrival at Ernakulam Railway station/Airport you will be welcome and greeted by our representative & transfer to Munnar. On your way to Munnar you visit tea and spice plantations, Cheeyappara waterfalls, etc. Arrive Munnar and check in your hotel. Rest of the day free for your own activities. Overnight stay at hotel in Munnar.
Day 02: Munnar Full Day Sightseeing
After breakfast at hotel proceed for sightseeing i.e. Maduppatty dam, Echo Point, Kundalay Dam, Pothenmedu View Point, Blossom Park etc are some of the highlights of the sightseeing. Shopping & overnight stay at Munnar.
Day 03: Munnar - Thekkady
After breakfast, proceed to Thekkady. Transfer to hotel & relax. Afternoon, proceed for sightseeing – The Periyar wildlife sanctuary is thick evergreen forest, declared a Tiger Reserve in 1978. The splendid artificial lake formed by the Mullaperiyar Dam across the Periyar river adds to the charm of the park. You can also do a things in Thekkady like – Boat cruises on the Periyar lake, visit cardamom, pepper, tea & coffee plantation. Overnight at hotel.
Day 04: Thekkady - Alleppey
After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Alappuzha . On arrival in Alappuzha, Check-in to the Hotel/ Houseboat. Welcome Drink will be served. Alappuza has always enjoyed an important place in the maritime history of Kerala. Today , it is famous for its boat races , backwater holidays , beaches , marine products and coir industry. Enjoy boating through Vembanad Lake seeing the sights.
Evening Tea/Coffee will be served with delicious Kerala snacks.
When the sun sets, the cruise will be anchored on the banks. You can enjoy your dinner in the House Boat and proceed to sleep. Overnight stay at Hotel/ Houseboat.
Day 05: Alleppey – Trivandrum - Kovalam
After breakfast, transfer to hotel at Kovalam. Later go for half day city tour covering Museum complex, Sri. Padmanabha Swamy Temple, Science & Technology museum, Veli tourist village, Aakulam boat club, Shangmugham Beach. Overnight stay at Kovalam.
Day 06: Kovalam
Full day free at the resort for Ayurveda treatment and enjoy the resort facilities or visit to Kovalam Beach. This internationally renowned beach has been a favorite haunt of tourists since the 1930s. Kovalam consists of three adjacent crescent beaches. The southernmost as the light house beach, is the most popular. Overnight at hotel in Kovalam.
Day 07: Trivandrum to Kovalam
After breakfast check out the hotel and drop at Trivandrum airport / Railway station.
